Overview

JurikSoft Remote Control Tools — software for remote administration of computers under OS Microsoft Windows 2000\XP or Windows Server 2003.

This software products are develop using Microsoft’s .NET technology for current and future OS from Microsoft. After installation JurikSoft Remote Control Tools to your PC you can control remote computer. Controlled PC or Server can be anywhere in your local network or in Internet.

Using JurikSoft Remote Control Tools you can control the remote PC through your own. Remote PC can be anywhere in your local network or Internet.

JurikSoft Remote Control Tools does not require high-speed network connection.

 

JurikSoft Remote Control Tools was ported to Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 technology.

New in version 1.0.0 

LZSS compression algorithm performance improved in new version of JurikSoft Remote Control Tools.

Real Time Desktop Viewer (RTDV) component performance has been improved. Three new methods of RTDV data transferring were added: for fast, normal and slow network connections. RTDV module equipped with completed data encryption.  

High Speed Deflate compression algorithm was added. This compression algorithm has the same compression quality as JurikSoft Remote Control Tools LZSS algorithm, and has superior compression performance. As default since  version 1.0.0 of JurikSoft Remote Control Tools, Microsoft Deflate algorithm is used.

Check connection status JurikSoft Servers in JurikSoft Client Server list was added. 

Statistic and Info tab page was removed from JurikSoft Client: you can view its information at status bat in main JurikSoft Client window. 

Some changes in JurikSoft Client’s Graphical User Interface were made. 

Following components have been added to JurikSoft Remote Control Tools: 

Remote Registry: to view and edit registry data of remote system. 

Remote System Information: to retrieve information about hardware and software subsystem of remote PC.

 Also some other features have been added.  

Fixed Bugs: 

False message about user account has been removed when JurikSoft Server was stopped. 

Some other minor bugs.

 

The list of basic features of some components

- File Manager - For the viewing and management of file system.

Allows:

1. View storage media content.
2. Download files and folders.
3. Upload files and folders.
4. Delete files and folders.
5. Rename files and folders.
6. Create new folders.
7. "On the fly" change settings of files uploading and downloading.

- Remote Execution – For the remote execution of software.

Allows:

1. Execute program or commands on remote PC with arguments of a command line.
2. Specify a working folder for the executed program.
3. Run program using Shell Execute.
4. Run program with specified window style.
5. Run program without window creation.
6. Run program with showing Error Dialog if there was some error.

- Processes Manager – For the remote managing of processes.

Allows:

1. View list of executed processes, including information about name of process, title of main window, priority of process, ID of process (PID - Process ID), number of process threads and memory usage.
2. Change priority of selected process.
3. Kill selected process.

- System Events – For the remote managing of Windows Events.

Allows:

1. View list of system events, including information about type of event, date and time of creation, event source, category, event ID, user and the computer name at which was created event.
2. Delete all events of selected log.
3. Delete selected event log.
4. View additional information of selected event.

- Services Manager - For the remote managing of Windows Services.

Allows:

1. View list of services, including information about type of service, status of service, friendly name and name of service.
2. Start selected service.
3. Stop selected service.
4. Pause selected service.

- Drivers list - For viewing list of drivers on remote PC.

Allows:

1. View list of drivers, including information about type of driver, status of driver, name and full name of driver.

- Software List — For viewing the list of installed Software.

Allows:

1. View list of installed Software, including the information of the version, the publisher, Software name, installation date and path.

- Windows Update List - For viewing the list of installed Windows Updates.

Allows:

1. View list Windows Updates including the update description, name of the user that installs update and an installation date.

- Remote Registry — to view and edit registry data of remote system.

 Allows: 

1. View and edit key values in binary, string, multi-string and DWORD data formats.
2. Create registry keys.
3. Create and modify string, multi-string and DWORD values.
4. Remove and rename keys and values of remote system registry.

- Remote System Information —  to retrieve information about hardware and software subsystem of remote PC.

 Allows: 

1. View software and hardware subsystems.
2. View software and hardware subsystem settings, including information about: BIOS, CPU, System devices, Printers, networks connections and others.

- System State Manager – For the remote managing of OS power state.

Allows:

1. Power off remote PC.
2. Restart remote PC.
3. Stand by and Hibernate remote PC.

- Message – For sending the message to remote PC.

Allows:

1. Send message to remote PC with selected parameters: Text of message, title of message, type of showing icon, type of buttons on dialog window.
2. Receive the notice of the user choice.

- Display - For the capture to image of remote Display content.

Allows:

1. Receive image captured from display of remote PC.
2. Select image format from next list: Bmp, Png, Jpeg, Gif, Tiff.
3. Capture images in the selected format using time interval.
4. Change remote display settings such as a screen resolution, color quality and display refresh rate.
5. Set compression and image quality settings for received screenshots.

- RTDV (Real Time Display Viewer) - For real time remote desktop viewing.

Allows:

1. Set maximum updates per second.
2. View remote desktop in a preview window or in real size window.
3. Remote desktop functionality for LAN or other high-speed connections.
